Billy, the ornithologist mouse

Hi! Wow, hello there! I’m Billy!

Flap, flap, flap! Did you see that? I think it was a rare blue tit flying past the window! Or maybe it was just a giant bumblebee. Either way, it was absolutely brilliant! I am 7 centimetres tall, which is the perfect size for hiding in bushes to watch birds. When I grow up, I am going to be a real, official ornithologist! That is a very big word for a bird doctor... wait, no, a bird scientist!

My maker poked me out of soft wool with a needle, and because I am fully poseable, I can point my paws up at the sky or look through a pair of supermini binoculars. Sometimes I get so excited about feathers that I trip over my own tail, but that’s okay!

I would love to move into your dollhouse or sit on your windowsill so we can count birds together.

Do you have any crumbs? Not for me, of course—for my feathered friends! Will you please take me home so we can start our big nature club today?
